Grenfell Campus - Memorial University of Newfoundland

Corner Brook, NL A2H 6P9
The Grenfell campus of Memorial University is located in Corner Brook on the west coast of Newfoundland, and is one of four campuses of Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Although the city of Corner Brook is small, the activities for students are endless. With campus only 10 minutes away from Marble Mountain and an hour away from Gros Morne National Park, students can engage in many outdoor activities – skiing, caving, kayaking, hiking – just to name a few. Corner Brook also has a thriving arts community, with numerous musical and theatrical productions happening throughout the year.
With approximately 1,200 students, Grenfell is a small, intimate campus that’s plugged into the resources of Memorial University, Atlantic Canada’s largest university. Grenfell offers a variety of student services free of charge, such as peer tutoring, supplemental instruction, career planning, counselling and financial advice.
Grenfell offers 16 programs in arts, science, business administration, education, nursing, fine arts and resource management. Our professors are known internationally for their research efforts; students often have the opportunity to work with professors on research projects.
Affordability and quality
Full-time annual tuition is frozen at $2,550. Memorial University is highly subsidized by the provincial government and this allows us to offer high quality programs at an exceptionally affordable cost to all Canadian students.
If students have the travel bug, they can study abroad for a semester at Memorial’s Harlow Campus in England or the Frecker Program in Saint–Pierre et Miquelon. Grenfell also has partnerships with universities in the USA and Galen University in Belize. Students studying on exchange will pay Grenfell tuition fees.
