Holland College offers more than 65 full-time one- and two-year career training programs to help you reach your goals. From Culinary Arts to Police Science, Music Performance to Welding, and just about everything in between, there is bound to be a Holland College program that interests you.
The college has more than 90 degree pathway agreements with universities and post-secondary institutions all over the world.
Holland College is home of the Holland Hurricanes. This varsity athletic program is a member of the Atlantic Colleges Athletic Association (ACAA). The Hurricanes have earned national recognition for their success, sportsmanship, and the highest number of CCAA Academic All Canadian Athletes for the past several years!
There are two residences on the Prince of Wales Campus in Charlottetown – Glendenning Hall and the Cumberland Street residence. These residences are home to 266 students during the school year. The residences have apartment-style one, two and three bedroom furnished units.
Prince of Wales Campus
Home to the Charlottetown Centre, the Centre for Applied Science and Technology (CAST), the Centre for Community Engagement (CCE), and the School of Performing Arts. The CAST building is a state-of-the-art “living lab” where students in Applied Sciences and Engineering Technology programs enjoy hands-on learning experiences. The CCE features a large gymnasium, fitness centre, dance studio and classrooms.
Tourism and Culinary Centre
The Tourism and Culinary Centre is located on the Charlottetown waterfront and houses The Culinary Institute of Canada’s Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, and International Hospitality Management programs, as well as the Tourism Management and Marketing Management programs.
Home to the college’s Welding and Plumbing/Pipefitting programs, the Georgetown Centre has a lunchroom, fitness centre and common room, and is a short walk from downtown Georgetown.
Summerside Waterfront Campus and Marine Training Centre
Most of the Industrial Technology and Trades programs are offered on the Summerside Waterfront Campus, and the college’s Marine Training Centre offers in-service training for mariners and the one-year Power Engineering program.
Atlantic Police Academy
The Atlantic Police Academy, located in Slemon Park, Summerside, offers programs related to law, security, and firefighting. Cadets in these programs are required to stay in the academy’s residence, located within walking distance.
West Prince Campus
Located in Alberton, the West Prince Campus enables the college to offer programs to the residents of the West Prince region of PEI.
